I feel it important for humans to believe in something. You could even believe in nothing if you so wish, but you still believe that there IS nothing. The reason why I think this way is that with belief comes purpose, with belief there is hope. Whether you believe in God, Nature, Science, Knowledge, or a mixture of all of the above (as I do), it gives purpose, it gives our lives meaning.
