The book wasn't as scary as I hoped it would be. At times I was slightly creeped out but not enough to enjoy it. The ending I felt was rushed and I prefer the ending of the movie to the book. I liked how the book helped enlighten several questions that were left unanswered by the movie, and thus found the book enjoyable in that sense.
