These two goals were one of the most developmental and character building goals I've completed on my list, so far. It took time, patience, and immense amounts of effort. Being a 24 year old and having lived with my parents right up until now had made me very reliant on them. My Asperger Syndrome itself made especially dependent on my mother. So, for me, this was an extraordinarily difficult step to take but I am extremely glad that I have finally taken it. I was so scared that I wouldn't cope very well with the changes, but I feel like I have and continue to handle this new lifestyle a lot better than I thought I would. Not to mention the fact that it is definitely making me a lot stronger and independent. Plus, I feel as though adulting really suits me.
Since moving out I have formed some very productive routines and have learnt to live very intentionally by prioritizing my time to my reading, writing, and my video production. Whilst also having learnt to take care of myself and take some very important "me time" when I need to relax and recharge (by playing a little PlayStation or just spending time with Georgia and my family). I feel like it truly helps to have a partner who holds similar beliefs to my own and who understands the importance of balance and self-growth, and that she propels me forward and encourages me to be more productive and to work-hard. I hit the jack-pot with this woman. I'm also extremely lucky to have a supportive family who helped me every step of the way
Though this may seem minor, to me this was a truly monumental step to have taken.
