For the past couple of weeks I've been challenging myself to wake up at around 6am every day. I've been doing this for, not only my bucket list, but also becaise I have realise that I am in fact, very much, a morning person, and am at my optimum productivity early in the morning, all fresh and bright eyed. Benjamin Franklin once said "early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." And so, that is exactly what I've been doing and aiming to achieve. This personal goal continued for until I felt it had become a proper habit. According to James Clear, it takes 66 days to form a habit, and so that is how long I set my challenge for.

I have always been an extremely lazy person, and unless it was necessary for me to wake up early, I used to sleep in everyday until midday or 1:00 pm, sometimes even 3pm. But that person is long gone now. These days, if I sleep in until 9:00 am I feel like I have wasted so much of my precious time. Well, I won't name any names (because I can't remember who said it) but I read an article online several weeks ago concerning productivity and waking up early and the guy suggested that in order to be better prepared for your day, and to be more productive on should wake up at least 3 hours before work, thus, 6:00 am, which is why I believed that 6am was my sweet spot.

It has now been over 66 days, and I am very proud and pleased to, officially, called myself an early bird, an early riser. I have been waking up at 6am everyday, for 66 days and have continued to do so, and plan to go ahead as I started. You can read up on my process and journey in the linked posts below. Or, if you'd prefer you an watch the video. I hope you all have an amazing week. Before I log off I have one question for you, what's your next adventure?
