(Book Review) The House Next Door by Darcy Coates

Extremely creepy book full of plot twists. There were moments you thought the book was about to end but then another plot twist would arise and continue, this was something I really enjoyed in the story and had not before experienced. It was extremely haunting and gave me chills through almost every page. I love a good Darcy Coates read.

(Review) The Woman in Black by Susan Hill

The book wasn't as scary as I hoped it would be. At times I was slightly creeped out but not enough to enjoy it. The ending I felt was rushed and I prefer the ending of the movie to the book. I liked how the book helped enlighten several questions that were left unanswered by the movie, and thus found the book enjoyable in that sense.
