New Beginnings - Life Update 24/07/2020

So, there's been a lot of new changes in my life over the past 2 years, which have kinda catalysed from having turned towards a vegan lifestyle 3, almost 4 years ago. For me, (I can't talk for everybody) but there's been a spiralling towards becoming more and more naturalistic since then, probably due to it. I remember tweeting a few years back that the more fruits and vegetables I eat the more connected to nature I feel, and that feeling hasn't changed. I have so far learnt to trust the importance of food being medicine and the power of fresh air. I have learnt about Chinese medicine and Tai Chi practices. I have stepped into meditation and have become a Buddhist (to be more accurate I am now a Christian Buddhist). And I've begun not only to turn to permaculture but also I have started to go on barefoot walks in the local commons. All things, which in my mind, seem to be very naturalistic and in tune with nature and life itself. Not to mention the fact that because of my veganism I've gradually learnt to care more about mother earth and several ways in which I can help protect and heal her. All these things are also leading both Georgia and I to move down to Sussex near the ocean and near like-minded people that reside down towards that area.


I have also decided to start a new series on my YouTube channel, potentially my Instagram, I haven't figured it all out yet. But, the series will be called Meditation Monday and I'll be going LIVE every Monday to meditate with my viewers. As I'll be moving 5 minutes away from the ocean, I will probably have the majority of the sessions there. I'll take my Mala Beads which I carry with me at all times, as well as my incense and obviously my phone down to the waterside for some refreshing positivity. And that is the reason why I want to start this up. My List Girl Channel and blog is all about positivity, and to me, meditation is extremely positivity and has been extremely helpful, and I want to share that positivity and aid with others. Being human I am constantly evolving, growing, and I am far from the person that I used to be when I first started this blog and YouTube back in 2012. I wasn't the type of person to eat my greens, I wasn't the type of girl to care much about the environment nor my health, and I wasn't the type of human to say no to meat and yet here I am. As I have grown, I plan to slowly grow my channel and the content I put out into the world. My List Girl will continue to be about sharing positivity, that is always what it has been about, and the main point of that will come from my bucket list, being about creating the life that you want, and going after the things that will make you happy and will allow you to grow. But now, I want to expand it to a few other things that I believe will hopefully also spread hints of extra positivity.


So, feel free to join me from now on every Monday on either YouTube or Instagram where I will be meditating in whatever location I may be in as I've been travelling a bit recently (before COVID that is). And thus, onwards to a new, fuller adventure.
