After playing through the PS Vita Phineas and Ferb game and finding out it only had 8 trophies and no platinum's, I thought to myself, "this game could have had way more trophies". Despite rather enjoying the chill and simple platformer, as a trophy hunter I was rather disappointed. And thus here are a few trophy ideas for the next time Virtual Toys decides to make another video game for PlayStation.

  1. Another one bites the dust - destroy at least 25 rubbish bins.

  2. Target acquired - destroy all 999 flying machines on the main menu.

  3. Make the nerds proud - complete all levels with an S grade.

  4. It's Halloween - purchase all Phineas and Ferb costumes.

  5. Don't deny it, you wish you could - shoot Candice with each of the weapons at least once.

  6. A purse well filled - collect all the coins from every level.

  7. Bits and bobs - collect all the nuts and bolts in every level.

  8. Short circuit - beat round 1 of the Carsaurus boss battle.

  9. Go for the foot - beat round 2 of the Carsaurus boss battle.

  10. Gettin' Groovy Baby - make Phineas and Ferb's robot dance through all the different dances at least once.

  11. Looking good - Change Phineas and Ferb's robot outfit at least once.

  12. The perfect streak - play through all the levels in the arcade without losing any life.

  13. High Score - defeat the pinball machine boss without loosing any life.

  14. Baby it's cold outside - destroy 50 ice cream machines using Perry the Platypus.

  15. At the arcade - defeat crane boss with full life.

  16. Shopping Spree - purchase all items from the arcade store.

  17. Call tech support - defeat the computer boss without losing any life.

A platinum would have also been swell.

It just seems to me that the producers of this game were really lazy with their trophies. I mean, 8 trophies? This game was only ever put out on the Vita in 2015. Looking at the data you'll find that by 2015 around 10 million systems were sold. As of August 2015 the best selling games on the system were Uncharted: Golden Abyss which sold around 1,470,000 games, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation which sold about 1,270,000 games, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified which sold 1,260,000 games. This reveals that the system and game's audience were in their late teens and over. Despite this having been advertised as a game for kids above the age of 7, assuming that Virtual Toys had done their research, they must have known that the only people who would have ended up playing this game were either trophy hunters or people looking for a little nostalgia. Therefore, they could have put in a little extra effort into their trophies list.

Despite this, the game was rather fun, and having the ability to play as each of the protagonists was very entertaining. Getting a glimpse into what it's like to be Perry the Platypus as an undercover spy was probably the highlight of the game, and who wouldn't want to get to play as Perry?! Nonetheless, I came looking for trophies where barely any were found.

NOTE: If you are planning on attaining all 8 trophies know that after the credits have rolled, if you jump back into the game, there may be a ton of glitches. I found that my touch screen stopped working (only when playing Phineas and Ferb) after I had beat the game.
