What I learnt from The Metamorphosis
One thing I learnt from Metamorphosis, the story by Kafka, is that even when we are face to face with a being that needs our help, there are times where we would prefer to sit and judge their situation. We feel disgusted. We feel shame. We feel pride. We feel uncomfortable. We feel guilty. We may even feel burdened by that other being. One day we will all die. This is a fact of life. And, I've heard say that when seniors pass away they tend to say that their biggest mistakes

#581 Barbican Conservatory, London ✔
For my birthday, on the 14th of January 2020, Georgia took me, for my birthday experience, to a visit to the Barbican Conservatory, which just so happens to be #581 Visit the Barbican Conservatory, London . We got to experience a beautiful arrangement of plants of flowers varying from up to almost 2,000 different species. There were even little ponds with stunning koi fish. At the conservatory, there is an indoor cafe where you can have afternoon tea. They didn't have any veg

#225 Eat Belgium waffles in Belgium ✔
Over the Christmas 2019 holidays, Georgia and I took a quick visit to Brussels. This was Georgia's experience/present to me for Christmas. She took me there in order to complete bucket list goal #225 Eat Belgium Waffles in Belgium . And so, yes, we did go all the way to Belgium for waffles, but my god was it worth it. I hadn't had waffles in such a long time since becoming vegan, so it wasn't just my first time eating waffles in Belgium, but it was also my first time eating w

#409 Go Sailing ✔
Day 3 in Barcelona, Spain, I got to have my very first sailing experiencing allowing me to tick bucket list goal #409 Go Sailing off of my list. This was both an exciting and nerve-racking experience. It was exciting due to its newness, and the beautiful view mixed in with the lovely sunshine. But it was nerve-racking as the weather was blisteringly windy and I swear there were several times the boat nearly tipped entirely to one side. The host of the Air BnB Experience even

#434 Visit Montjuic Castle in Spain ✔
During day 2 in Barcelona, I got to complete bucket list goal #434 Visit the Castle of Montjuic in Spain . Whilst at the castle I saw the views from the top of the castle which were magnificent. I also saw and felt with my own hands the stone structure which was beautiful in itself. My partner and I picnicked in the central foyer opposite the old well, as well as visited Montjuic's internal cafe, where we ate cold vegan soup (it was supposed to be cold apparently). There was
