Majority of the research that can be found on Autism traits was founded on the study of young white boys. The important thing to remember is that, despite what the societal structures would like you to believe, the world does not revolve mainly around white boys. There are A LOT more variety amongst the human population, including those of us on the spectrum. The thing with human beings being unique in their genetic, mental, and environmental structures is that we present a lot of variety in our being, expression and, in terms of Autism, our traits. Which is why we shouldn't all be tested or seen under the same lens as young white boys. And thus, it is important to make sure that other groups of people be looked into and studied also. For example, women, being emotional and expressive creatures, present our Autism rather differently. And thus, let us discuss the traits that women often exhibit.
