(Review) The Woman in Black by Susan Hill

The book wasn't as scary as I hoped it would be. At times I was slightly creeped out but not enough to enjoy it. The ending I felt was rushed and I prefer the ending of the movie to the book. I liked how the book helped enlighten several questions that were left unanswered by the movie, and thus found the book enjoyable in that sense. I would say the book was entertaining and worth the read, but in terms of scare an adrenaline, the movie was better. The scene with the dog and the marsh made me cry.
